Buying a home is the biggest financial decision most families make. This general checklist helps you plan; it is not financial advice, so please speak with your bank or advisor.

Before you book

  • Check your home-loan eligibility with two or three banks.
  • Keep your KYC, income proof and bank statements ready.
  • Plan for your own contribution (down payment) in addition to the loan.

Costs beyond the flat price

  • Stamp duty and registration charges as applicable in Maharashtra.
  • GST on under-construction property, where applicable.
  • Parking, society formation and maintenance deposits, if any.
  • Interiors and moving costs.

Protect yourself

  • Verify the project's MahaRERA registration on the official portal.
  • Read the agreement for sale carefully, including the possession clause.
  • Pay only through traceable banking channels and keep every receipt.
